Dangers of Vaping

Many of our patients who were heavy smokers are turning to eCigarettes to help them quit tobacco. In the United Kingdom the National Health Service considers eCigarettes to be safer than tobacco and has proved more effective than other nicotine replacement therapies.

Unfortunately, Vaping is also becoming popular among young persons who may never have smoked tobacco. Although vaping products often contain nicotine, and are thus as addictive as smoking cigarettes, there are other substances preferred by these new smokers.
